History was made at the Semi-Annual Shotgun Shot on Saturday, 12/5/98. No it wasn’t the number of participants (only five men participated, one officer and four members); instead it was what many though was unthinkable - Tim Price fell in defeat! Randy Rowley jumped out to an early lead on a blustery, cloudy day and survived a furious comeback by Tim that fell one kill short. The last station was especially tense. Randy shot first and broke 5 out of 6, forcing Tim to have to break all six in order to tie. However, he missed the second bird of the first double. Randy ended up with 37 kills (his best ever), Tim broke 36, Jesse Price broke a respectable 25 targets, and Ron Denison brought up the rear with 11 kills (we were convinced that he forgot to put his contacts in, he normally shoots much better than this).
