Ten members and three youth members (13 participants, 10 shooters) had a fun time at the 12/7/02 Quarterly Sporting Clays Shoot at the Capitol City Trap & Skeet Range. Capitol City once again set and challenging course with several new targets since our last shoot there (6/29/02). We had absolutely no problems with Capitol City employees (unlike our 6/29/02 sporting clays shoot). Kenny Hill took home the First Place Trophy with 38/50. Larry Dowden took home the Second Place Trophy with 27/50. Derrich Pollock and Randy Rowley tied for third with 22/50 but Derrich took home the Third Place Trophy after a sudden death shoot off. Tim Price was next with 21/50 but he shot with a turkey choke in his gun (a training technique for a more precise aim). He was followed by Jesse Price with 20/50, Ron Denison with 18/50, Charles Cutchens with 12/50, Kevin Wall with 10/50, and Isaac Price with 8/50.
