Twelve men and their wives (24 total participants) had a great time at the Fifth Annual Sweethearts Appreciation Dinner on 2/24/95 at Ken and Marcia Farmer's home. The menu included: ribeye steak, baked potato, salad and breadsticks (from The Olive Garden) and cheesecake (from Honey Baked Hams). The meal went for only $24.00/couple (best of all tips were not expected). The dinner with the exception of the salad and cheesecake was cooked and by the men, who also acted as servers. The home setting allowed for quite a lot of fellowship, moving around and the showing of two FCS videos. The ladies in particular seemed to enjoy the attention that was lavished upon them. Look for future Sweethearts appreciation dinners to continue in members homes. Thanks to Ken and Marcia Farmer for opening their home to us and to Paul Wilson for putting together an FCS scrapbook and video.
