2/25/05 - 2/26/05 White Bass Fishing Trip

Ten fishermen (three officers, five members, and two children) had a great time of fellowship at the 2/15/05 - 2/26/05 White Bass Fishing Trip on Lake Travis, near the Jonestown pump station.  Jim Gault caught the most fish (two catfish).  Rachel Pollock caught the first fish (a largemouth bass).  I, Randy Rowley, caught the largest fish (an approximate 15" long largemouth bass) on a crankbait.  The only problem was the white bass forgot to show up.  Derrich Pollock, Steve Watkins, and I have fished for whites numerous times during past February's and have never been skunked like this.  It appears that the bass are in shallower water.  As General McArthur said "We will return."  Thanks to Derrich Pollock and Charles Cutchens for taking fellow FCS members out on their boats.
