Ten participants (nine hunters) had a great time at the 4th Annual Hog Hunt on 2/1/02 to 2/3/02 with Texas Wild near Cross. I, Randy Rowley, led the way with an approximately 120 lb. sow shot about 12:00 PM on the first day as we were touring the ranch. That night I added a 175 lb. boar shot only 15 minutes after I got into my stand. David Chalmers shot a 140 lb. boar and Tim and Jesse Price added approximately 50 lb. sows to the tally also that evening. On Saturday Tim shot a bobcat with his .22 rifle. Guest Eddie Lee Toohey shot a Javelina on Sunday morning. Eddie Lee and guest Jim Bob Cohenour missed a sow on Friday evening or we would have had a tally of six. Still, with five hogs harvested, this was the second best hog hunt that we ever had.
