Twenty one participants (including eight first time guests) had a good time at the 8/31/04 – 9/3/04 Fall Dove Hunt (north zone) near Woodson. Eddy Chance, Larry Dowden, and Ron Denison limited out on the first day. The second day was much tougher. The 10 birds that I (Randy Rowley) harvested were the most. The third morning was better than the second. I got seven birds and Ron shot six. The weather was good (high - 88, low - 61) with scattered clouds. Eddy and Ron both killed rattlesnakes. There were not nearly as many birds as anticipated due to a recent cold front.
