7/3/08 - Mike Coppedge is scheduled for surgery at Seton on 7/9/08 for repair of an old injury. He will be in Seton for at least a week and then will go back to Cornerstone Hospital of Austin (4207 Burnet Road, Austin, Texas, 78756, (512) 706-1900). Please pray for Mike and his family as he under goes surgery. If you have a few minutes give him a call on his cell. He's been in the hospital for over a month and he's might enjoy hearing from you. Mike's cell is 512-632-9550. He has been dealing with a MRSA infection, internal bleeding, and non-functioning kidneys since 5/14/08.
6/17/08 - Ken Hamilton requests prayer for Janice Collins. She is a lady about 60 years old that is trying to stop smoking. She even went to a hypnotist but it didn’t do her any good.
6/16/08 - Eddy Chance requests prayer for his dad, Reverend C.V. Chance. His congestive heart failure and diabetes are taking a toll on him. He can hardly walk and fell once while Eddy visited him during Fathers Day weekend. His fluid build up is very bad and Eddy can't get him to go to the hospital. The last time he went in they put him on a heavy dose of Lasix, which drains the fluid from your body that causes congestive heart failure. He lost 50 lbs. of fluid the last time he was in the hospital and felt great when he went home. But he is stubborn and just doesn't want go back in the hospital again. Please pray that we can convince him that this is the best way for him to feel better. Please pray for his health, and for Eddy's stepmother Fay, as she is very ill and is trying to take care of him. She also suffers from congestive heat failure and needs our prayers.

6/7/08 - Kevin Schnaut's good friend, Bruce Reed, is hospitalized in Michigan. The doctors have found a tumor on his brain and a couple in his lungs. He had an MRI on his brain on 6/7/08. He's also scheduled to have a biopsy of the spots on his lungs. The doctors have told him that what they've seen on his brain could be some sort of infection but the MRI will tell them more. The spots on his lungs are concerning the doctors but will know more after the biopsy. Bruce is a past member of Hays Hills. He was in the planning process of moving his dad from San Antonio to Michigan where he could better care for him during his declining health. Please lift Bruce, Joyce, Jarred, Katie, and Josh, up during your prayers.
6/5/08 - Gary Schriber requests prayer for Nona Gold (his mother-in-law) who is in the hospital with a blockage in her intestine.
6/5/08 - Joe Lung requests prayer for John Spong who will be going to Afghanistan for Texas Monthly. He will be on patrol with our soldiers to get his stories.
6/5/08 - Ron Denison requests prayer for his nephew, Steven Crank, who will be going to Iraq as a combat medic within the year.
6/3/08 - Randy Rowley requests prayer for Shannon Matley (a former co-worker). Her husband, Joe Bricking, lost his fight with a malignant brain tumor on 6/2/08. Shannon is not a Christian but is a seeker.
5/28/08 - Curtis Slovacek requests prayer for Chris Robinson. Chris is in the Shriners Burn Center in Galveston under going skin graphs.
5/28/08 - Mr. Charlie Batts requests prayer for his brother-in-law's family (Richard Hall). The Halls' house burned down on 5/27/08. They live in Mart, near Waco.
Ryan Rowley arrived in Afghanistan on 5/19/08. He will be deployed for one year. He will be guarding contractors who will be teaching the Afghan farmers advanced farming techniques.
Darryl Swann requests prayer for Dave, that he may come to know Jesus. Also, please pray for guidance on how best to get everyone at the same place at the same time for a devotional.
Randy Slagle's voice has not returned after serious heart surgery. They went to see an ENT on 5/13/08. He found that one side of Randy's vocal cords is paralyzed. They will go back in four months to consider surgery. Please pray that it will come back on it's own.
James Wade requests prayer for his neighbor, Irita Kellberg, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Please pray for the family's salvation (one daughter is living at home].
Kenneth Kidd and Ron Denison request prayer for the children of Larry Haggerman who was killed in a tragic accident on 4/10/08. A pressurized airplane cabin door blew out and crushed Larry's head. His children (son- Weston, age 12 and daughter, age 16) lost their mother eight months ago in a vehicle roll over accident. Pray for comfort for them.

Delia Geary requests prayer for John Keller, who was in a motorcycle accident on 2/18/08. He has undergone brain surgery to remove a clot from his brain as well as pelvis surgery to correct three fractures there. Please pray that there will be no swelling, infection, pneumonia, brain damage, damage to any other part or organ in his body, no more bleeding, and a speedy and complete recovery. John is in ICU at the McAllen Medical Center.
Sue Denison’s injured back from being rear ended, please pray for healing and quick recovery.
Jeff Reece requested prayers for Patrick Reilly who has an MRSA staph infection. He lives in Tyler, TX and is a sophomore in high school. Before moving to Tyler, he was in the Boy Scout Troop with Jeff's son Justin.
Ken Rector tore his ACL and MCL in his knee and will have to undergo surgery.
Eddy Chance requests prayer for his future father-in-law, Doug Kinsey, who has been battling congestive heart failure for some time now. Over the past few weeks he has really been struggling and had to be admitted to the hospital due to fluid build up in his lungs.
