Thirteen men and four sons (17 total participants) attended the first ever Hog Hunt on 4/3/92 - 4/5/92 at the Uno Mas Ranch in LaSalle County. Kevin Font shot two hogs, including a boar that weighed about 200 lbs., and Keith Miller shot a boar that weighted 210 lbs. Thanks to Paul Wilson for arranging and organizing the hunt. Paul put a lot of effort into the event. There are very few landowners who would allow a group that they do not known to hunt their land without a fee. Usually a hunt fee and a trophy fee of several hundred dollars is charged for big boars. The deal that Paul negotiated (one days work for one days hunt) was truly incredible. Also thanks to Randy Slaqle for saving everyone's bacon by pulling them out of the mud with his truck.
