A proposal was made to modify the member’s fee and non-members fee for FCS Dove Retreats that was approved by the Club on 4/10/97 (but never implemented). Members would be charged the current hunt per day fee. Non-members would be charged the current hunt per day fee and in addition pay a $12.00 fee during the September hunt (designating September as the Club membership renewal month) and a $8.00 fee during the January hunt (pro-rated). The non-member can choose whether the $12.00 (or $8.00 as applicable) goes towards his Club membership or to the Club’s general fund. A vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously. The Club Bylaws will be modified to reflect this change.
A proposal was made to re-implement the pro-rated club membership due system that was approved by the Club on 6/3/99. The membership due would be $12.00 if a man joined the Club or renewed his membership in September, $11.00 in October, $10.00 in November, etc. (pro-rated $1 a month). A vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously. The Club Bylaws will be modified to reflect this change.
A proposal was made to allow Club members wives, girl friends, and/or daughters to participate in all Club outings (they have participated in all club outings that are on the 2001 FCS Calendar with the exceptions of the Dove and Duck hunts). Participation would be limited to known female relatives/significant others of Club members. The proposal passed unanimously. The Club Bylaws will be modified to reflect this change.
A discussion was held on creating a new FCS shirt. Interest will be established before any plans are made.
A proposal was made by Dennis Koch to change the next Quarterly Sporting Clays shoot from May 12, 2001 to May 5, 2001 due to the possibility that some shooters may be going out of town for Mother’s Day. The proposal passed unanimously.
