Five shooters (one NAC officer, three NAC members, and one NAC youth member) had a real challenge at the Quarterly Shotgun Shoot held on Saturday, May 13, 2000 at the Capitol City Trap & Skeet Range. For starters the participants shot regulation 5-stand (two shells were allowed for the single target and only two shells were allowed for the double). To make things even more challenging there was a brisk, gusty wind. Consequently the scores were considerably lower than normal. Randy Rowley took first place with 22/50 (last time he did 38/50). Ron Denison came in second with 19/50. Tim Price finished third with 18/50. Jesse Price was next with 15/50 and Garrett brought up the rear with 10/50.
