One officer, eight guests, and two grandsons (11 total participants) had a great time at the 6/27/08 Night at the Races at the San Antonio Raceway near Seguin/Marion. The cars there were Darryl Swann's '73 Trans Am, a Viper, a supercharged Mustang, a '98 Camaro, and a 50's Fiat Gasser with a Tunnel Ram Ford 460 Big Block. Everyone pretty much just did test and tune stuff. There was lots of fellowship. Darryl disintegrated the front universal joint on the first pass and didn't even get off the line, but Darryl says that that's part of racing.
