Three officers and one member (four total participants) had a good time at the 6/7/08 San Gabriel River Fishing Trip near Georgetown. Mark Dillow and Kevin Wall each caught about 10 perch and new member James Bean caught two perch on their fly rods. I, Randy Rowley, was fishing for bass and was skunked. The water was so clear that you could clearly see the bass. Four times I threw lures above the back of bass and put the lure right in front of them, but had no takers. It was mostly overcast and we had a nice breeze. The San Gabriel River is quite beautiful.
