Eleven shooters had a fun time at the 6/29/02 Quarterly Sporting Clays Shoot at the Capitol City Trap & Skeet Range. Capitol City once again set a new and challenging course. David Chalmers took home the First Place Trophy with 28/50 (he was averaging 34.33/50 before today). Warren Hoke took home the Second Place Trophy with 27/50 (he was averaging 33/50 before today). Jesse Price took home the Third Place Trophy with 23/50 (he was averaging 17.71/50 before today). Rusty Owen, a shooter who asked to shoot with us also shot 23/50. Randy Rowley and John Partridge tied for fourth with 22/50. Randy was averaging 29.19/50 and John was averaging 27/50 before today. T.J. Lubina was next with 21/50 (he was averaging 36/50 before today). Ron Denison was next with 20/50 (he was averaging 20.72/50 before today). Karl Bremer was next with 19/50. He was followed by Jordan Bremer with 18/50. He was followed by Larry Dowden with 16/50 (he was averaging 28.83/50 before today). With the exception of Jesse and the first time shooters with the Club (Karl, Jordan, and Rusty) everyone shot below their average. The lower scores were more indicative of the tougher course rather than poorer shooting. Check out the Sporting Clays Scorecard for history, finishes, and averages.
