7/21/07 Sporting Clays and Skeet Shoot
One officer and two guests (three total participants) had a great time at the 7/21/07 Sporting Clays and Skeet Shoot at the Capitol City Trap & Skeet Range, despite the mud. The targets were easier than last time except for one on the last station that was ridiculous. Perry Barrow came in first place with 40/50 (his best), I (Randy Rowley) came in second place with 34/50, and Mark Hejl came in third place with 33/50 (his best). Up until the end of the fourth station we were very close. Perry and I had 25 and Mark had 24. Then Perry smoked us on the 5th station. I had trouble with a incoming/crosser and Mark had trouble with a rabbit.
Capitol City had a "Trade Day" where they allowed you to put your items for sale on a table (along with your prices and initials). I sold Mike Hardcastle's bow, a shotshell reloader, five arrows, three bags of wads, a box of empty hulls, and a container of powder (everything that I had for sale except for two boxes of pistol rounds).
