7/4/05

The April - June quarter of 2005 was a great one for FCS.  We had 80 total participants, which was our second best for this quarter.  It also blew away what was our average for this quarter (41).  We had eight events for this quarter - which tied 1996 for the most.  We had one man join the Club during this quarter.

The next quarter promises to be an exciting one for FCS members and guests.  We have seven dove hunts planned, including our annual Fall Dove Retreat near Dilley and two dove hunts at a new location near San Angelo.  We're going to have our first ever Bay Fishing Trip on 8/4/05 - 8/5/05 and our first ever Hunting and Gathering Trip at Cabela's on 7/23/05.  We'll shoot Sporting Clays again on 7/9/05.  We'll cook steaks and hopefully fish caught on the 8/4/05 - 8/5/05 Bay Fishing Trip at the 8/11/05 Club Meeting.

We also now have enough fishermen (13) for the 8/4/05 - 8/5/05 Bay Fishing Trip for one full boat and three 3/4 full boats.  The Bay Fishing Trip requires a $75.00 deposit.  Mail your check to me ASAP at 11612 Birchbark Trail, Austin, TX, 78750 in order to secure your spot.  We can take at least three more fishermen.

I hope to see you at an FCS event soon.

Following His trail,

Randy Rowley
