8/24/07 - 8/26/07 Coastal Fishing Trip

The Annual FCS Coastal Fishing Trip is tentatively scheduled for 8/24/07 - 8/26/07 near Corpus Christi/Port Aransas.

 

For this trip we'll have the following fishing options:

 

Power boats (Ronnie Ross and Tim Price will bring theirs; we'll help them with fuel cost)

Kayaks/Canoes (for those who bring or rent them)

Wading in the bay and/or surf

Piers

South Jetty

North Jetty and St. Joseph Island (there is a boat that takes people to the island for $8)

 

Probably the best thing about the coast is you can fish multiple techniques in one day!

 

If we can get the FCS pop-up camper (we can sleep 5 - 6) fixed we'll bring it and camp at Mustang Island State Park.  If not we'll stay at a motel.

Minimal expenses:

Shared gas (vehicles and boats)

Shared campsite or motel

Shared food

Bait (optional, but highly recommended)
