8/29/91 General Meeting minutes

The meeting was held at the Minirith-Meier-Tunnell-Wilson Clinic.  Seventeen members were in attendance.

  1. The meeting called to order by the President.

  2. Various outings and service projects were discussed.

  3. A discussion and vote was held concerning membership dues.  Although, this proposal was accepted at another Club meeting, another vote was held.  There were sixteen votes for acceptance and one member abstained.  Dues are set at $10.00/year and will be part of the membership application.  These dues will cover the cost of printing newsletters, flyers, directories, ballots, etc., postage, VCR tapes on hunting and fishing (to be shown at club meetings), materials for service projects and guest speakers at club meetings.  Dues are payable to the Treasurer.  Dues are for the period January 1 through December 31.  Club Officers will decide how funds will be allocated.  If you do not have the funds to pay your membership due, please see the club treasurer.  The officers realize that not everyone will be able to afford a yearly due.  Membership in the club is not dependent on paying a due.  However, the officers stress that as many members as possible pay dues in order to ensure equality in sharing expenses.

  4. The meeting was closed by the President with prayer.
