9/3/06 Annual Fall Dove Hunt (north zone - Woodson)
Five members, one guest,
and one youth daughter (seven total participants) had a pretty good hunt at
the 8/31/06 – 9/3/06 Annual
Dove Hunt (north zone) at Larry and Betty Sullivan’s ranches near Woodson.
It rained for
about a 24 hour period. Ken Hamilton hunted two mornings and one afternoon
and got six dove from his wheelchair. Kerri Hamilton got two dove and first
time guest John Eads got four dove. Mike Coppedge hunted one morning and
one afternoon and got five dove. His daughter, Julia, got a dove on the
wing. Wilson Peters and Rusty Prince hunted mores days and longer and almost
got their limit on opening day.
