How to Join/Renew

FCS membership is not required in order to participate in FCS events.

Presently FCS adult membership requirements are as follows:

FCS adult members shall consist of those men and women who have:

• Expressed a desire to be an FCS adult member by completing an FCS Adult Membership Application (the address to send your application and dues check is located on the application) and Have paid FCS membership dues.  New adult member dues are $30.00.  New adult members who choose a FCS Gear membership benefit item that costs more than $14 will have to pay an increased due, according to the cost of the item.  Exceptions to the $20.00 new adult membership dues are noted on the FCS Adult Membership Application and the FCS Gear web page.  A new FCS adult member who wishes to have his or her membership benefit mailed must also cover the cost of postage and a large envelope (see the FCS Adult Membership Application and the FCS Gear web page for specific postage and envelope amounts).

• Paid a $20.00 FCS adult membership renewal (for men and women who are already FCS members).

Dues are used to help pay FCS expenses.

FCS Adult membership begins when we receive an applicant's FCS Adult Membership Application and dues check.  FCS Adult memberships expire one year after we receive a member's FCS Adult Membership Application and dues check.  Here is how to renew.  The only difference between supporting FCS adult members and FCS adult members is supporting FCS adult members are current in their dues.

To really feel like you belong to FCS you need more than FCS Gear.  You need to connect with other FCS adult members.  This means 1) attend a variety of events and 2) make friends.  #2 usually occurs when you take advantage of #1.  When you make friends, you will have another reason to look forward to FCS events other than the fact that we are hosting an event that interests you.  Again, participating in events is not a requirement of membership; however, it is strongly encouraged.

All youth who do not have a parent, guardian, or conservator who is a FCS member are required to complete a FCS Youth Membership Application prior to participation in FCS activities.  However, they do not pay a membership due.  Youth FCS membership begins when we receive an applicant's Youth FCS Membership Application.  All youth FCS members must secure parental, guardian, or conservator permission in order to purchase FCS Gear.  A youth's youth FCS membership expires when he or she turns 18 years old.  On that date, he or she will need to submit an FCS Adult Membership Application and dues check in order to become an FCS adult member.
