The following message was received as a reply to information that I (Randy Rowley) posted about FCS on a texasbowhunter.com Classifieds forum. "Lumberjack" is my "handle" for texasbowhunter.com.
Hey Lumberjack, This site is pretty cool. Is this a club that only exists in Austin or is this just the Austin chapter of something bigger? I ask since I'm up in the DFW area, so something up here like that would be awesome!
I sent the following reply:
Brian,
Thank you for your question. Most of
our members live in the Austin area and currently we only have chapters in north
Austin and south Austin. We currently do not have any members in the
Dallas area but would love to have you join us.

Hey Lumberjack, I sent out an email to
some of my church buddies. I believe that David Hamilton and his father
have hunted with your group before.
We may want to talk to you about possibly making a chapter up here. I
think I personally know of around 10 people that are Christians who'd love this
idea.
If you'd like, let's start using personal email to discuss this a little
further.

Brian,
Yes, David and Ken Hamilton are active members of the Club and great guys. We would love for ya’ll to start a Dallas Chapter. Basically, at least a President would need to be elected. For a Chapter President job description please see the Bylaws page on our Website. I would highly recommend that you also elect a Vice President (to run things in the President’s absence), a Secretary, and a Treasurer (who would need to send dues and reimbursement request to the Club Treasurer). One man can do it all but he would be prone to burn out. You could work out your own schedule for meetings and outings. The members of the chapter would have to agree to follow the Bylaws and Statement of Faith (as do all members). E-mail or call me at 512-963-0003 if you have any questions. Thank you for your interest in the Club.

I sent an email to David and about 10 others to discuss starting a chapter. I'll let you know what kind of interest I get.
