Results of the 2001 evaluation

 

 

  1. 100% of respondents believe that FCS meetings are held at the right frequency.
  2. 100% of respondents believe that FCS meetings are of the right length.
  3. 100% of respondents believe that the fellowship time at FCS meetings is of the right length.
  4. 67% of respondents believe that the video time at FCS meetings is of the right length. 33% of respondents believe that the video time is too long.
  5. 83% of respondents believe that the business meeting time at FCS meetings is of the right length. 17% of respondents believe that the business meeting time is not long enough.
  6. 100 % of respondents believe that the structure of FCS meetings is of the right amount.
  7. Respondents stated that FCS meetings would be improved by: Relaxed and informal atmosphere (1), Bible Lesson (1), Occasional Speakers (1), and Better Attendance (1).
  8. 100 % of respondents believe that FCS meetings should be held on Thursdays.
  9. 100 % of respondents believe that FCS outings occur at the right frequency.
  10. 100 % of respondents believe that FCS outings generally cost the right amount.
  11. Respondents would like to repeat the following outings: Dove Hunt (2), Duck Hunt (2), Shotgun Shoot (2), and Hog Hunt (2).
  12. Respondents would like to never repeat the following outings: Sweethearts Dinner (1) and outings when the temperature is below 35 degrees with 20 MPH winds (1).
  13. Respondents stated that the following outing was too long: Dove Hunt with no birds.
  14. Respondents stated that the following outing was too short: Dove Hunt with lots of birds.
  15. Respondents stated that FCS outings would be improved by: Better organization (1), Air conditioning (1), and Better Attendance (1).
  16. 67% of respondents believe that internal service projects should not be a priority for the FCS Club. 33% believe that internal service projects should still be a priority.
  17. 83% of respondents believe that the FCS membership dues should continue in order to meet expenses. 17% of respondents believe that FCS membership dues should not continue.
  18. Respondents stated that if dues were abolished we should take care of Club expenses by: Fees from FCS events (1) and Wild Game Dinner at $10.00 plate (1).
  19. 100% of respondents are in agreement as to how the officers are spending the FCS dues.
  20. No one responded to the question "I believe that the FCS dues would better be spent on".
  21. Respondents attribute the decrease in attendance at FCS meetings and outings over the past two years to: Too busy (5), Dove Hunt cost (2), Duck Hunt cost (1), Family conflicts (1), and uninteresting meetings (1).
  22. Respondents would resign their membership from the FCS Club due to: Too busy (2), Moving out of state (1), and no new participants (1).
President’s Analysis: The vast majority of respondents indicated that things are going pretty well for The Fellowship of Christian Sportsmen.  The vast majority (67%) indicated that they did not want service projects to be a priority for the Club.  We might need to take a look again at the length of time for video’s (1/3 felt they are too long).  Everything else was 83% or higher (an overwhelming majority).  The theme of the responses was positive and there were no negative comments.  I would like to thank the men who took the time to answer the questionnaire.
