President's Analysis: The vast majority of respondents indicated that things are going pretty well for The Fellowship of Christian Sportsmen.  Responses to all questions, except the frequency of e-mails, were 78% or higher (an overwhelming majority).  A slim majority (58%) felt that the frequency of e-mails was appropriate.  42% felt that they are too frequent.  Educators say that the average person has to hear something seven times before it sinks in.  That's why you see/hear the same commercials over and over again.  Case in point.  A year or so ago, an FCS member, who shall remain nameless, e-mailed me to ask if I had sent out any e-mails about an upcoming meeting at his house.  In fact I had sent out 13 e-mails that referenced the meeting but he apparently had not read any of them!  I also believe that one reason for our increased attendance is increased promotion.  For these reasons I will continue to promote things to death.  I also believe that it is imperative to inform members of new prayer requests ASAP so that people can start praying.  I will however, cut down on e-mails that don't include prayer requests or upcoming events.  The following pages proved to be winners on the Website: Articles, Calendar, Classifieds, Hunting/Fishing Opportunities and Guide/Outfitter Recommendations, Hunting and Fishing Stories, the Main Page, Past Events, Photo Gallery, Prayer Requests and Praises, and Upcoming Events.  I was disappointed to learn that more members aren't reading the Devotionals, In the Crosshair's (President's Columns), and Statistics pages.  I was very disappointed that more members aren't reading the Discussion Forum.  Regarding the recommendation that "FCS outings would be improved by having individuals check out guide services before we schedule a group hunt" this would work in the ideal world.  However, very few of us have the funds to do this.  We try to find out as much information as we can about an outfitter before we use them but sometimes we have no alternative than to roll the dice.  Of course if someone is interested in being such a "scout" please let me know.  I would like to thank the 15 active members and two inactive members (17 total) who submitted evaluations.
