Mark Dillow proposes that we have a White Bass Fishing Trip at the Reimer Ranch (near Hamilton Pool on the Pedernales River). Reimer's is famous for being family friendly and for it's fishing during the white bass run, which usually starts in February each year. The park is now owned by Travis County. The entry fee is $8.00 per vehicle and the park is open from sunrise to sunset. Camping is no longer allowed. This is a perfect outing to include the wife and kids. You can fish with minnows, flies, or lures. Small watercraft (canoes, kayaks, etc.) are allowed. Boats are allowed to use trolling motors but not gas engines.
