On 3/7/06, Club member Harold McElfish donated a 1987 Coleman pop-up camper to me, Randy Rowley. It has an air conditioner (that is presently not working), an internal three burner propane stove, an external two burner stove, a sink, a 20 lb. propane tank, two padded benches and a small table that makes into a small bed, water and electricity hook ups (the internal outlets are presently not working), and a side awning that rolls up and zips up in a attached case on the side of the camper. The cabinets are fully stocked with blankets, sheets, kitchenware, and other miscellaneous items. One bed is queen sized and the other almost full sized. It sleeps five comfortably but Harold actually put seven guys in there once - three on one end, two on the other, one on the bench that makes into a table, and one on the floor.
I am making this Pop-Up Camper available for check out by active FCS members only. The following rules for use apply:
Expenses for the Pop-Up Camper include insurance, registration, and maintenance. Therefore, I would appreciate voluntary contributions from users of the Pop-Up Camper to help defray costs. I suggest a donation of $10.00 per group per day.
Contact me to reserve or check out the Pop-Up Camper at or 512-963-0003 (Mobile).
President's note: I would like to express my deep gratitude to Harold for his generosity.
