On 713/06, by a vote of 7 to 1, the active Club members approved adding a "Bring in the New Year" Shooting Range Shoot on Saturday, 12/30/06 from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Eagle Peak Shooting Range to the Club Calendar.
On 7/26/06, by a vote of 3 to 0, the Club officers approved added another Beyond the Basics: Pistol Class to the Club Calendar. This event had already been approved by the active Club members so there was no need for another one week discussion followed by a one week vote (this is allowed by our bylaws).
On 8/1/06, by a vote of 3 to 2, the Club officers agreed to make the 8/31/06 - 9/2/06 Fall Dove Hunt (central zone - San Angelo) as this year's Fall Dove Retreat (San Angelo was unanimous; however, two officers voted to have the Retreat on 9/7/06 - 9/9/06).
On 8/5/06, by a vote of 5 to 0, the Club officers agreed to add a 9/1/06 - 9/3/06 Fall Dove Hunt (central zone - Buda) to the Club Calendar. There was not time for a minimum one week discussion followed by a minimum one week vote (as called for by our Bylaws) as members must get their money in for this lease by 8/12/06, so the officers made an Executive Decision.
On 8/29/06, by a vote of 15 to 0, the active Club members approved the Fiscal Year 2007 Budget.
On 9/20/06, by a vote of 4 to 0, the Club officers agreed to cancel the 9/21/06 - 9/23/06 Fall Dove Hunt (south zone - Dilley) at Mr. Ewald's due to a lack of birds and reschedule it for 10/26/06 - 10/28/06 with Texas Wild.
On 9/28/06, a poll was taken among the FCS officers. Four officers agreed that we should keep the 10/20/06 - 10/21/06 Youth Shoot (Sporting Clays Shoot and Camp Out) at Capitol City Trap & Skeet Range despite their increase in price.
